Spanish police say seven women and a baby have been rescued as part of an operation against the trafficking of Romanians for sexual exploitation

Spanish police say seven women and a baby have been rescued as part of an operation against the trafficking of Romanians for sexual exploitation.

They were freed in Albacete, in southeast Spain.

It is claimed victims were forced into prostitution and had to sell drugs.

Six people have been detained as part of the police investigation.
