Police are probing a suspected arson attack on a building intended for asylum seekers in eastern Germany.

Two Germans – currently the only people staying there – escaped unscathed from the house in Tröglitz where anti-foreigner sentiment has already made headlines, with the town’s mayor quitting last month over the rise of the far-right.
