Ireland are the 2015 Six nations champions on points ahead of England, who won big in Twickenham but not big enough.

That is because Ireland themselves made no mistake and put the title beyond England’s reach by crushing Scotland at home. England finish runners-up for a fourth successive year, while the Irish enjoy retaining the title.

Ireland put 40 points over the Scots while England could only manage 55 in their record win over France.
