Police in Colombia have seized more than three tonnes of cocaine with an estimated street value of 80 million euros.

Officials say the drugs were stashed in holes covered in wood in the middle of a jungle, close to the border with Panama.

They say the packets were more than likely about to be transported north to Mexico.

Police operations against the notorious Usuga drug gang have been expanded in recent weeks.
