Chinese handset maker Xiaomi more than doubled its revenue in 2014. The firm’s announcement comes just a week after it was named the world’s most valuable tech start-up.
Pre-tax sales for last year were up 135 percent from 2013 with the company reporting it made almost 10 billion euros.
Xiaomi is now the world’s third largest maker of smartphones behind Samsung and Apple. It saw a 227 percentage rice in sales from 2013 with the number of phones sold topping the 61 million mark.
The company announced it plans to unveil an new flagship device in January.
