Thousands of shoppers in the UK have been queuing outside stores hoping for a bargain on Boxing Day.

December 26 is one of the busiest days for retailers in the UK, with most offering more than 50% off normal prices.

Analysts say the discounts will be some of the biggest in six years, after the mild autumn weather left piles of unsold winter clothing to clear before new stock is brought in for 2015.

Online shoppers are also expected to spend more than 650 thousand Euros a minute as they grab themselves a sales deal.
