Former Olympic relay gold medallist Jon Drummond has been banned for eight years for doping violations.
The 46-year-old who won gold at the Sydney Games in 2000 was found to have possessed, trafficked and administered banned drugs to an athlete under his care.
Drummond – who served as US relay coach at the London Olympics – was also Tyson Gay’s former coach.
Gay – a former 100m and 200m world champion – was suspended earlier this year for 12 months for failing a dope test.
