A driver was rescued Monday (December 1) in east China’s Xiangshan County after she lost control of her car and plunged into a river. A surveillance camera captured the hair-raising moment the car suddenly swerved leftward, knocking down a lamp post and diving into the roadside river. It took the volunteer rescuers some 20 minutes to get the woman out of the river.
