The Philippines is marking the fifth anniversary of the worst political massacre in the country’s history which left 58 dead.

It was also the biggest ever recorded killing of media workers. Foreign and local reporters lit candles in memory of the 32 journalists killed when their convoy was attacked in Maguindanao in 2009.
