Refugees perish in mountains on Bulgarian-Serbian border

Police in north-western Bulgaria are investigating the deaths of four men from exposure near the Serbian border. The men were from Iraq and Syria. Another 26 people were brought down from the mountains by rescue teams and locals. All were trying to illegally cross while awaiting refugee status.
