Could Roberto Mancini coach Inter Milan back to their glory days?
He’s been reappointed to the position he quit in 2008. Media reports suggest Mancini has now signed a deal until 2017.
Prior to that, the crowd favourite propelled the side to three successive Serie A victories before a Champions League defeat against Liverpool saw him resign.
He moved on to Manchester City – where he won the FA Cup and the Premier League – then coached Turkish side Galatasaray.
Mancini succeeds Walter Mazzarri, who was sacked after Inter were left ninth in the table.
His first match in charge will be the Milan derby on November 23 and fans will surely be hoping he can work some of his old magic.
