Seven months after being sacked by Manchester United, David Moyes has returned to management after being appointed coach of La Liga strugglers Real Sociedad.
The 51-year-old has signed a one and a half year contract wqith the basque club and replaces Jagoba Arrasate.
Arrasate was dismissed by Sociedad after a string of results left the club languishing down in 15th place with nine points from 11 games.
They clawed their way out of the relegation zone only last Sunday with a 2-1 victory over defending champions Atletico Madrid.
Moyes is expected to be officially presented at the San Sebastian-based club on Wednesday and his first game in charge will be against Deportivo on 22 November.
