At the World Travel Market 2014 in London, the leading event for the global travel industry, euronews spoke to Martin Sebesta, spokesperson of the Slovak Tourist Board about the new flight connection between the UK and the scenic Slovak Tatra region. Video in English.

“The very important news for travellers, which want to come to Slovakia is a new airline connection from London-Luton to Poprad/Tatry. And also there is a new flight connection from London-Luton to Kosice. Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, is also very well connected with European cities, but travellers, which are coming to Slovakia, may also take advantage of Vienna International Airport, which is only 60 kilometers away from Bratislava. So the transfer time from Vienna to Bratislava’s City Center is only 45 minutes, which is a great advantage for travellers visiting Slovakia.”
