Freedom Tower opens 13 years after Twin Towers attacks
On September 11, 2001, 2,750 people perished after the terrorist attacks on the twin towers of New York’s World Trade Centre.
The reconstruction of the neighbuorhood has been long and difficult, but 13 years later a new skyscraper stands on the site – the Freedom Tower, which is 546 metres tall and the first employees have started work in the building.
