Britain’s Nigel Lamb won the 2014 Red Bull Air Race World Championship on Sunday.
Lamb ended the season with a second-place finish in the final stop of the campaign in Spielberg, Austria.
After rival Hannes Arch of Austria ended up a disappointing fourth place in a nail-biting finale, 58-year-old Lamb’s nine points for second was enough to seal his maiden Air Race World title.
The last leg of the tour was won by Frenchman Nicolas Ivanoff.
