Moscow, Lisbon and Porto: Catwalk capitals of the week

One of Russia’s top designers Slava Zaitsev presented his spring-summer 2015 collection at Russia’s Fashion Week in Moscow.

The 76-year-old designer said he was inspired by his “love of women”.

Zaitsev has dressed the wives of Russian president Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. His own creations are greatly influenced by traditional Russian and Slavic styles.

More than 70 Russian and foreign designers will present their Spring-Summer 2015 collections at Russia’s Fashion Week until October 26.

Portugal Fashion

Portugal Fashion – Portugal’s most important fashion event – has kicked off in the cities of Lisbon and Porto, under the theme ‘Sprinkle’ for the Summer of 2015.

Young designers such as Daniela Barros have been leading the way with new trends and showcasing their talent.

Porto-based designer Anabela Baldaque portrayed a mature and sophisticated woman in her very feminine collection inspired by the silhouettes of the 1930s and the 1960s.

Anabela Baldaque has a career spanning more than two decades in fashion. She attended the first edition of Portugal Fashion in 1995.

Since its creation, Portugal Fashion has been to major fashion capitals all over the world.
