MEPs have voted to approve the next European Commission lead by Jean-Claude Juncker.
Four hundred and twenty-three Parliamentarians voted to back the new EU executive after weeks of political haggling.
As many as 209 MEPs declined to do so, whilst 67 lawmakers abstained.
The European Parliament confirmed the former Luxembourg prime minister as Commission President-elect back in July.
The new body will be responsible for shaping, proposing and drafting legislation that affects the lives of 500 million Europeans.
Juncker’s team takes over on November 1st.
