Judo Grand Prix Tashkent: Day three

The middleweights were in action on the third and penultimate day of the Judo Grand Prix in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Nyam-Ochir Sainjargal and 2009 world champion Tsagaanbaatar Khashbaatar battled it out in an all-mongolian final for the -73 kilo title.

Sainjargal finally got the better of his compatriot by virture of fewer shido penalties.

In a thrilling -81kg final Roman Moustopoulos upset the home crowd when he beat Yakhyo Imamov.

The Greek judoka struck gold by immobilizing his opponent for ippon.
