Fire ripped through a 12th century church in Belgium on Thursday, completely destroying the landmark.
Officials say the blaze, in the town of Anzegem, West Flanders, took hold quickly just as the choir were about to begin their evening practise.
The St John the Baptist Church was recently renovated on the outside and was due an interior makeover.
No injuries were reported.
