Organisers of the Africa Cup of Nations say there are no plans to reschedule next years tournament because of the Ebola outbreak.
Hosts Morocco called for a postponement of the event, which is due to kick off on January 17.
The Confederation of African Football has already taken precautions as a result of Ebola.
Guinea are playing their qualifying matches in Casablanca, with Sierra Leone taking to the field in the DR Congo and Cameroon.
Morocco fears the tournament may expose tens of thousands of people to the risk of infection.
CAF say they will discuss the request at a meeting on November 2 in Algiers.
