Parkour 'free running' among Gaza's ruins
A group of Palestinian teenagers from Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip have found a new outlet to release their pent up youthful energy in the form of Parkour free running. The boys, aged between 13 and 16, learned their skills from watching YouTube videos. “Our message to the world is that in spite of the destruction and the occupation in Gaza, we play over the ruins because people like to watch us play,” said Ahmad Matar, a member of the Parkour team.
