Sweden has presented its new centre-left government and created a surprise by announcing a measure that was not in its election manifesto. The country will recognise the state of Palestine, and becomes the first European country to do so.
For the first time the Social Democrats are allied with the Greens, and there is strict parity between male and female ministers, with 12 jobs each.
