Latvians eye their eastern neighbour as polling begins

Latvians go to the polls today with the outgoing centre-right coalition expected to win the most seats, with an electorate that is somewhat spooked by Russia’s actions in Ukraine. This makes it unlikely the leading opposition party Concord, which mostly represents the country’s 25 percent Russian population, will be able to mount a serious challenge.
