A kidnapped girl from Texas has been found alive 12-years after being abducted.
Sabrina Allen was four-years-old when she was taken by her mother in 2002.
Sabrina’s parents had separated but her mother, Dara Llorens, was able to take her while she was on a weekend visit.
Sabrina’s father said his estranged wife has mental problems and had threaten to take her away before the disappearance.
Sabrina, who is now 17, is being examined by medical experts in Texas before being reunited with her father and the rest of her family.
Dara Llorens is also in Texas where she is being held in custody.
It is reported that one Mexican police officer suffered a minor injury during the struggle to apprehend her.
