Air passengers in Europe will soon be able to take-off and use electronic devices like mobile phones during flights, according to the European Aviation Safety Agency.
Airlines will now have to ensure aircraft systems are unaffected by signals from portable electronic devices before establishing rules for their operation.
The move ends the final regulatory hurdle and clears the way for people to make phone calls or use wi-fi on any flight.
