Portugal has seen its second strike in as many days. After action was taken by dissatisfied nurses, metro workers in Lisbon staged a 24-hour strike, starting on Wednesday night (September 24).
Workers were protesting at plans to partially privatise the network, and an alleged deterioration in working conditions and services to the public.
