Authorities in northern Mexico, near the US border, have issued an alert after a massive acid spill from a copper mine.
A 60 kilometre stretch of the Sonora river has turned orange and the main water supply to thousands of homes has been turned off.
The spill is reported to be the worst environmental disaster on record in the mining industry in Mexico.
