The northern Adriatic coast of Croatia is continuing to battle floods caused by heavy rain.
The Istrian town of Pula saw more than 20 litres per square metre fall in just three hours on Saturday (September 20). Streets, homes and businesses were flooded.
Along the the coast, Zadar was also awash – hit by as much as 50 litres of rain per square metre.
Emergency services in both cities have been working to minimise the damage.
