Olympic and Paralympic athlete Oscar Pistorius has been cleared of murdering his girlfriend.
But the South African judge adjourned for the day before ruling on a charge of culpable homicide.
Pistorius killed model and law graduate Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine’s Day last year.
He says he shot her in a tragic accident, believing that noises he heard were from an intruder.
Steenkamp was in the locked bedroom toilet. He fired four shots through the door.
Before adjourning the judge called Pistorius negligent.
He could yet be found guilty of culpable homicide.
The judge’s verdict will be read this morning.
