Firefighters in Germany have struggled to put out a blaze following a massive explosion at a chemical plant near the city of Bremen.
Flames of up to 50 metres and pressure from the blast damaged nearby houses.
Injured residents were rushed to a local hospital and hundreds were evacuated to a school set up as a temporary shelter.
There were no immediate reports of casualties.
It is not yet known what caused the explosion.
