Formula One legend Michael Schumacher has been moved from a hospital in Switzerland to continue his rehabilitation at home.
The German seven time world champion suffered a severe head injury whilst skiing off piste in the French Alps in December last year.
He spent six months at a hospital in Grenoble where he underwent two operations to remove blood clots from his brain before being put into a medically induced coma in an attempt to reduce swelling.
He was later transfered to the hospital in Lausanne.
The 45-year-old has now been moved to his family home in Gland, on the shores of Lake Geneva in order to continue his recovery.
His manager Sabine Kehm recently said Schumacher has made ‘progress’ but added he still has “a long and difficult road ahead.”
