Numerous vehicles which were used to ferry soldiers to the battle front in World War One have taken part in a parade through Paris.
Cars and lorries from the era along with their modern counterparts marked the centenary of the “Taxis of the Marne”.
Their drivers back in 1914 had risked their lives to get the troops to the front line to defend the French capital which was being threatened by German invaders.
