AC Milan’s new signing Fernando Torres was officially unveiled on Wednesday following his two-year loan move from Chelsea.
In signing with the Italian club the Spain international ends a disappointing four-year spell at Chelsea where he failed to find the same form that made him a hit at Liverpool.
At Milan he’ll be hoping to rediscover his scoring touch to fire the Rossoneri back up the table after an eighth place finish last term.
Meanwhile another Spanish international Alvaro Negredo was also unveiled this week when he arrived at Valencia following his deadline day transfer from Manchester City on a one-year loan.
Some 15 thousand supporters turned out at the Mestalla to greet their new striker, whose day didn’t go quite so smoothly after he received whistles from certain sections of the stands when he refused to kiss the club’s badge.
