Karim Benzema has signed a five-year contract extension with Real Madrid which keeps him at the Santiago Bernabeu until 2019.
The France striker joined the current European champions in 2009 from Lyon.
Since his arrival the 26-year-old has scored 111 goals in 235 appearances.
Last season he scored 24 goals in 52 matches across all competitions and helped Real lift their 10th Champions League trophy.
For weeks he had been linked with a move away from the club with Premier League outfits Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham among the reported possible destinations.
However in signing a five-year contract extension he has now committed his future to the Spanish capital club.
