State of emergency declared as Bosnia is hit with more flooding

Heavy rainfall has unleashed flooding in Bosnia, forcing authorities to declare a state of emergency.

Rivers have burst their banks, flooding houses and roads.

The affected areas were also devastated in May, when they were hit by the worst floods in 120 years. Heavy rain in Bosnia, Serbia and Croatia swept away roads, bridges and homes, causing 51 deaths and billions of euros worth of damage.

The current wet weather started on Tuesday and, according to forecasters, will continue to fall until Thursday.
