Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of Costa Rica’s World Cup hero Keylor Navas.
The 27-year-old goalkeeper has joined the European champions from Levante on a six-year deal worth ten million euros.
Navas starred in Brazil this summer where he helped Costa Rica reach the World Cup quarter-finals.
His arrival at the Bernabeu will force the exit of shot-stopper Diego Lopez and present serious competition for out-of-sorts number one Iker Casillas.
French side Monaco and Serie A outfit Napoli lead the race to sign Lopez.
