The World’s best slalom Kitesurfers took the waves on the final day of action at the Fuerteventura stop of the World Cup Tour on Thursday.
Frenchman Julien Kerneur won seven of the eleven races to claim victory and with it move to the top of the overall leaderboard.
South African Oswald Smith took second place with Kerneur’s compatriot Paul Serin rounding off the men’s podium.
Dutch competitor Annelous Lammerts took the women’s title ahead of Slovakian Bibiana Magaji, while slalom newcomer Manuela Jungo of Switzerland finished third.
The next event featuring the slalom discipline takes place in Germany at the beginning of next month.
