Two-time Olympic gold medallist Mo Farah is out of the Commonwealth Games.
The Team England athlete was forced to withdraw after failing to recover from a recent illness.
He was expected to run the 5,000m and 10,000m at the Games in Glasgow after winning both events at London 2012.
But the 31-year-old has decided to rest up now in preparation for August’s European Championships in Zurich – a “tough decision”, according to the athlete.
