Dutch mourn as bodies from MH17 arrive home
Six days after MH17 was shot down over the battlefields of eastern Ukraine, the Dutch mourn as the first bodies from the downed Malaysian Airlines Flight arrive back in the Netherlands amid dignified grief tinged with anger. The Netherlands bore the heaviest toll in the crash that killed all 298 passengers and crew – 193 of those who died were Dutch citizens.
The two military transport planes carrying 40 coffins landed in the southern city of Eindhoven were met by the Dutch heads of state, the Malaysian Transport Minister, and Australian officials.
