Israel has kept up its bombardments on Gaza -three Palestinians died in as many air strikes in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
A Hamas health ministry spokesman also said at least 11 more people were killed in a second Israeli strike on a local hospital.
However other reports say a residential building was shelled.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has already condemned Monday’s hospital strike in which four people died.
The latest deaths bring the number of Palestinians killed in the two week Israeli offensive to at least 539, including nearly 100 children.
Israel has lost 27 soldiers in ground battles with militants, plus two civilians killed by Hamas rocket fire.
The violence has also spread to the West Bank. In Bethlehem Palestinians protesting at the military action clashed with Israeli
soldiers. One Palestinian youth was shot dead.
Israel is intent on crippling Hamas’s militant infrastructure, including rocket arsenals and networks of tunnels threatening Israelis living along the Gaza frontier.
