Huawei sales jump 19 percent


Huawei Technologies, the world’s second largest telecom equipment maker, has said it will achieve sustainable growth in 2014.

The Chinese company has posted a 19 percent jump in revenue in the first half of this year to 16.175 billion euros.

In a statement released on Monday, Huawei’s CFO said “increasing investments in LTE networks worldwide Huawei had further solidified its leadership position in mobile broadband.”

Earlier this year the Shenzhen-based company set a target of achieving 10 percent annual growth by 2018.
