In this edition of ‘Speed’ we start are engines in Germany, where Nico Rosberg met the expectations of his home support to win his fourth Grand Prix of the season. A Grand Prix full of thrills and spills.

Ten days after getting married to long-time girlfriend Vivian Sibold Rosberg celebrated with a straightforward win at Hockenheim.

The German dominated from start to finish and drove the race with a custom made helmet dedicated to the German national football team’s World Cup success.

The biggest spill of the day was the epic first corner crash of Felipe Massa, who flipped his car and skidded along the track upside down – fortunately he escaped unhurt.

Lewis Hamilton produced the thrills with a stunning ride going from 20th to third to complete the podium behind Williams driver Valtteri Bottas.

Reigning champion Sebastien Vettel was fourth and Spain’s Fernando Alonso fifth.

Rosberg’s fourth win of the season puts him on 190 points, 14 clear of teammate Hamilton in the championship standings while Mercedes remain way out in front in the constructors race.
