Italy opens up its museums for free


It is culture for free in Italy! In a move designed to encourage the use of the country’s immense historic heritage the government has decreed that on the first Sunday of every month citizens and tourists will be given free entry into all museums and archaeological sites. That goes for late viewing on Fridays too.
