Queen Elizabeth christens Britain's biggest warship

In the run-up to the Scottish referendum on independence from the UK, Queen Elizabeth travelled to the country to officially name the biggest warship Britain has ever built.

Some 4,000 people gathered to watch a bottle of Scotch whisky smash against the hull of the aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth – a tradition thought to bring good luck to the ship.
