Netanyahu expresses the anger of Israel at teens' burial


United in pain and sadness, Israel mourned along with the families of the three murdered teens whose bodies were found in the occupied West Bank on Monday following a desperate two-week search.

In a ceremony broadcast to the nation, the bodies of the young Israelis were laid to rest side-by-side at the cemetery in the city of at Modi’in.

Giving his eulogy Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed the anger of the nation.

“These assassins, with unlimited atrocity and without morality, violated the decree, ‘never cast a hand on a child’.”

The prime minister who blames Hamas for the abduction and killings has vowed they will “pay the price”.

Overnight Israel launched a series of air strikes on Gaza. It followed a wave of missile strikes from the Palestinian enclave.
