Britain’s Carphone Warehouse and Richard Branson’s Virgin Group have agreed to sell off Virgin Mobile France.
French provider Numericable has agreed to buy Virgin Mobile France for 325 million euros.
The parties have been in negotiation since May 16 and have signed a legally binding sale and purchase agreement.
The deal remains conditional on the approval of the French Competition Authority.
The agreement comes just two months after Numericable agreed the 17 billion euro acquisition of mobile operator SFR from French conglomerate Vivendi.
