Special elite police forces in France have beefed up security for the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
Eighteen heads of state will gather for lunch at the Chateau of Benouville in Normandy.
The city of Benouville has gone down in history for being one of the first places where the Battle of Normandy began.
The security operation is huge.
Philippe Berne, Adjoint General for Engagement explained: “We have a vast area to cover. Some 7,500 square kilometers, therefore we need some special measures.”
More than 3,000 soldiers, 2,000 police officers and 1,000 firefighters and civil servants are taking part in the security operation.
