Maria Sharapova has reached the final of the French Open for the third successive year after overcoming Eugenie Bouchard in a hard-fought semi-final.
The highly rated 20 year old Canadian took the first set 4-6.
But Sharapova battled her way back into the game, taking the second set 7-5.
The Russian had the edge from then on, claiming the final set 6-2.
She will face either Simona Halep or Andrea Petkovic in the final.
