According to reports, the 35-year-old has paved the way for a new career in the United States by holding talks with the new Major League Soccer franchise New York City.
Lampard scored an impressive 211 goals in 649 appearances for the Blues after signing from West Ham in 2001 for approximately 13 million euros.
