Three people killed in Scottish road rally


Three people have been killed and six others injured and at a road rally in Scotland after two cars collided with spectators in separate crashes.

A car at the Jim Clark Rally in the Scottish Borders injured five people one of whom was in serious condition

Two hours later, the rally’s most serious crash took place at Little Swinton, near Coldstream, when a car came off the road and hit spectators.

Three were pronounced dead at the scene and a fourth was in a critical condition in an Edinburgh hospital.

The rally was stopped immediately after the second incident.
